Azeem Ibrahim
Chairman
Azeem Ibrahim is the owner and Chief Executive Officer of the European Commerce and Mercantile Bank (ECM Bank). He has a history of bringing strategic thinking to his many dealings in international commerce and brings the same focus and intensity to all his endeavours, whether they be charitable work or banking. He was inaugurated into the Sunday Times Scottish Rich List in 2007.
Sejad Mekic
Deputy Chairman
Sejad is a currently undertaking a PhD at the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies. In June 2006, Sejad was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Theology and Religious Studies from the University of Cambridge. Prior to his postgraduate-studies, he completed a BA with First Class Honours from the University of Wales in Lampeter. Sejad is married and has one daughter. He is multi-lingual and holds both, Bosnian and British nationalities, and will return to Bosnia to oversee the orphanage once it is built.
Dr Baba M. Gana is a Consultant Surgeon working with the National Health Service. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, the International College of Surgeons and the European Board of Urology. He has made many contributions to peer reviewed journals and is a Consultant Editor of the medical journal BMJWA. Dr Baba is married with children and lives in Wales.
